[C320-list] Questions -- Chain?

I don't have a good reason really for the swivel other than it seems much
easier to get the anchor facing the right way when it hits the anchor
roller. :) A couple times though, the anchor line got a little twisted for
some reason and wanted to kink up when it got into the boat. Kind of like a
phone cord. Once I let the anchor hang in deep water and the twist came out.
I figured the swivel would prevent that, but haven't used the anchor since
installing it.

Are these interchangeable with respect to the chain gypsy? Also, why do
you need a swivel on the anchor. I don't use that much chain, but with
primarily rope rode I've never seen any evidence that the system was
twisting in any serious way.
