[C320-list] Aqua Lift Muffler

Alan, 

Who did you order the ow and new aqua lift muffler from and how did you
order it without removing the old one first?  It was my impression you have
to send your old one away so it can be duplicated because they vary in
design.  What was wrong with the old one?  Also, do you have a Yanmar or
Perkins?

Bruce - I ordered and have received a new one.  Given the rate of failure of
these things, my intention is to repair the old one and keep it on the shelf
as a spare.

Allan,
Since you said you were planning on replacing and not repairing the water
lift muffler why don't you cut the exhaust pipe off the muffler just below
the end of the hose.  You can then break up and remove the piece that is
still inside of the hose. I used to use this technique a few decades ago
when I couldn't get a worn out muffler of the tail pipe. Happy holiday and
