[C320-list] 2007 regatta chairperson needed

Last month I posted an update on our plans for the 2007 Annual Regatta
and Meeting. I also asked for a volunteer to step forward to help
coordinate this event. The individual should preferably be from the St
Petersburg/Tampa area or be willing and able to work with 320 members in
the area. The effort really isn't that significant especially at this
early stage, plus there are plenty of members (Dick Walker has already
agreed to serve a consultant) who have setup regattas in the past that
would be more than willing to lend advice etc. Basically the duties
involve arranging lodging and activities, marketing the event and being
the "go to" person for members interested in attending. There is still
plenty of time to get involved. If you are interested in coordinating
the 2007 Annual Regatta and Meeting, please contact me directly.
