Hi Jim,
 
-  The only other AC switch will be the air cond/heater.  The  accessories 
might mean the AC circuits (for AC appliances to plug into)  throughout the boat.
-   When plugged into shore power, the AC will be running your  battery 
charger which will be charging the batteries.
-  My AC service light is out, too.  I've already replaced it  once...guess 
they just do not last long.
