[C320-list] SeaLand vent filter

We installed one on Selkie and they are vey effective. I solved the space problem (and servicing) by re-routing the vent hose through the hanging locker and installing the filter cartridge on the aft locker wall.
   
  Yes, if the tank overflows it will cause the filter to clog but a tank monitor solves that problem. A small price to pay if the cockpit is downwind of the vent.

Peggy Hall (The Head Mistress) recommends against it. The first time
you get crap up into the vent (and you will do that) is the last time
the vent will work until you replace the filter.

Peggy Hall seems to be the queen of heads, and has written a book about
how to keep your head clean running and sanitary (also smelling sweet).
