I'll second the Xantrex 20 which I replaced the awful Pro-Mariner with.  The Pro-Mariner was noisy and I was constantly adding water.  The Xantrex 20 is silent and I almost never have to add water.  I too leave my frig on 24-7.  as i recall the installation was rather simple but I did have to put a backer board in the Lazzerette prior to installation and I used liquid electrical sealer to seal all the connections.  I only received 3 years of service from my first set of batteries with the Pro-Mariner, I'm on the fifth year with these using the Xantrex, who knows, I could get a couple more years out of them.
