[C320-list] Shore Power Charger

Al,
I've seen it put out 35. I would think that barring limits in the charger itself, the electricity needed is there because 20A of 120V is 2400W which is 200A of 12V. Now we know it's not 100% efficient but it would only need to be 20% efficient to put at 40A of 12V if it sucked all 20A of the 120V service. All of that said, I think our boats (and my marina) are 30A service.

Bill
I was led to believe that if you put in a 40 amp charger and your shore power was only 120v - 20amp service the max your charger will produce is 20 amps of charging power .
