[C320-list] Stanchion Issue-Ideas?

Jon

I recently had a weld at the base of a stachion break. Mostly of my doing,
by looping the bow line around it and mooring the boat in rough water, it
strained on the stanchion until it cracked. I broke it all the way through
trying to straighten the slight bend in the stanchion.

Anyway did you ever find a way to get yours welded while still on the boat?
Mine is the stanchion which is part of the bow pulpit, so I dont want to
remove the entire pulpit.
