Disconnect the lead from the start battery plus term and put the battery
switch to OFF.
If you don't have bilge pump, that thats where it was connected.

That's what I was afraid of.  I recently paralleled my house batts as
batt 1, and installed a start batt on batt 2.
Your response tells me there's no way to isolate the banks when it
comes to the bilge pump draw, without rewiring the bilge pump.
