Starting into out third season with Illumination #983 I decided that it 
was time to change the impeller. After removing the old impeller I got 
the replacement out of my spares box, only to discover that it was not 
the same as the one that I had removed. The one that I had removed had 
a pin(threaded) throught the center and fit onto the pump shaft in the 
slot cut in the center of the shaft. My spare however was designed to 
fit on a shaft that has a tab(Key) on the outside of the shaft. After 
several phone calls and a trip to the local marina that is an 
authorized Yanmar dealer it was determined that my engine was the 
European model....I'm just happy that I discovered this at the dock and 
not in the middle of the bay. Make sure you know which model you need. 
You can not rely on just asking for a spare that fits an 3GM30F
