[C320-list] Target Coatings / Woodworking Guide

Hi Joe,

Why do you think target coatings are not good for touch up? I have been
refinishing my cabin sole, which really hadn't worn through the finish
anywhere, but I decided I never wanted to get into stripping it down to the
clear wood. The target coating does a beautiful job, but for a really good
finish you need to use the proper brush to get outstanding results,
especially on a surface like the cabin sole. I used the DiVinci brush which
I purchased from Target. I chose the 2" brush that is only about 3/16"
thick. The thinness is the key to it working so well. My wife and I get
into quite a bit of wood finishing and where I have previously had good
results with foam brushes with polyurethanes, I found they didn't really
work well with the water based product. The brush was $36 plus shipping but
it is a dream to work with. Of course I threatened everyone in the house
with death if they ever touched that brush.
