ENGINE HOURS ARE A RESULT OF HAVING THE KEY TURNED ON, PERIOD ! Of course the engine could have been running also which would explain the reduction of fuel. DUH.

There is one other possibility.
I believe the engine hours count up even if the engine isn't running but
the
key is turned on. So your engine might not really have that many hours on

it. Someone might have just left the key turned on.
