Check your dripless shaft seal if you have one. Mine got a bit of gunk on
the face of the carbon or steel where it rotates. It then rattles against 
the shaft. Use 600 grit wet sandpaper folded so it will do both faces @ the 
same time to clean up the faces. Some watter will come in, it`s like 
checking your knot speed wheel. I do it every spring. I think that cure is 
in the shaft seal booklet.
