As you have already read no doubt the best solution is a track on the 
mast. I had hull 790, and added a track for that purpose. You can buy them 
in almost any length. I had a two foot length on mine. I seem to recall I 
centered it about 5 ft up from the mast base.

[C320-list] Whisker Pole Mast Ring






Greetings:

The C320 I acquired this spring will enter the JAM racing season at my 
local club (Ottawa) in two weeks. It came without a pole to hold out the 
jib on down wind legs and I have gotten a whisker pole this weekend for 
the purpose. I will order stanchion storage brackets for same this week.

As there was no pole, there was also no mast ring fitting to attach the 
inboard end of the pole to. Does anyone know what fitting by make and 
part number would have the appropriate curvature for the mast and how 
far up the mast from the coach roof the ring should be?
