[C320-list] Question on changing out the fuel filters

Mike,

If you have a 200 series Racor, there should be a large white plastic 'knob' on the top and in the center. If you unscrew this, it becomes the manual pump for the primary. For the secondary (on the engine) you need to back off (not remove) the hex screw that sits on top of the filter body. As for the hand pump not budging, that would be a problem. The one trick with that is that when pushed down initially it feels like it has been fully decompressed, but you need to push further when you feel some resistance to get the pump to actually move the fuel. Once the fuel starts coming out of the top of the filter without bubbles, tighten down the hex. I usually need to give it a good amount of throttle the first few times I try to start after changing filters--Hope this helps and good luck!

Regards,

Jon Vez
