Open both tank valves and run pump until no flow. Add the pink stuff to the 
forward tank . It will flow to the rear tank. open faucet hot and cold and run 
til pink. If you want to not use the pink stuff in the hot water heater you 
will have to unhook the feed line to the heater and hook it to the hot water 
line. With whale fiittings this is easy but it is a tight place to work. Then use 
a water vac to suck the hot water heater dry from the tank drain ( about 6 
gal). If your pump will not prime after running empty then a new pump is 
required.
