[C320-list] Muffler alternative

That would be great David. For what it's worth, I had one of these installed
on my old Catalina 30--although a different setup, same problem with no
issues whatsoever...

You bring up an excellent point. Also, I think it would be valuable  
to have Gerry's assessment of this muffler, and whether he thinks it  
is a good match with the Catalina engines.

I relied on the recommendation of my mechanic to install this. That's  
just one man's opinion. I would hate for a number of you to install  
one of these only to find out there are some negative impacts.

I will try to contact Gerry and get his opinion of this. I'll report  
the results.

Due to all the interest, I'll also get some additional pictures which  
show the incoming and outgoing lines.

And if any of you need additional incentive to come to the regatta,  
I'm hoping to bring my boat so it might well be there for personal  
tours and inspection. I'll only charge a nominal fee ;-)
