How bout acetone?? I generally use acetone for cleaning/degreasing, not
sure what type of caulk you have or whether it will work. I'll be using
that when I get there....
I am about to tackle the same project, the UHMW tape is sched'd for delivery
tomorrow. I was thinking about Jeff's suggestion of putting the tape on the
hatch itself, rather than the "track". Does the slidey-tape go all the way
back on the track, beneath the hood, or does it end one hatch-length in
(from companionway/cockpit)...?? (Not sure I'm describing that too well...)
thanks!
