[C320-list] Reverse

One thing I'd recommend is to go below and have someone else shift back and forth into and out of reverse (and forward) while you are watching what is going on.  I had the same problem and it turned out some of the wiring in the engine compartment had dropped down and was preventing the linkage from making its full movement.  Your problem may not be that simple, but it's still a good first step to just look and see what is happening.
