[C320-list] Hot Propane Valve?

Mine gets hot also.  I usually turn it off when not using it.

I was installing a Tee fitting so we could use the Propane tank to run our 
small grill instead of having to stock those green cans.  Anyway, after the 
install checking for leaks, I noticed that the electric valve was very hot. 
Is this normal or is this a sign of it going bad or maybe something worse?

Heat, propane and a confined space makes me nervous.....
