Thanks Allan, that's a fantastic resource that I did not know about!

Dan - Everything you wanted to know about the Toolbox Program follows:

CATALINA 320 INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION
TOOL LOANER PROGRAM

The Catalina 320 International Association is pleased to announce a
"Tool
Loaner Program" available to members in good standing of the
Association.
This is an ideal program for the DIY (Do-It-Yourself) owner who needs
the
right tool at the right time but that right time is maybe once or twice
during ownership of the C-320 (and with any luck, never). Since it is
hardly worth buying the tool for that occasional use, this is where the
Tool
Loaner Program steps in.

The Program is simple - you need, we ship, you use, you ship back. Your
only cost is shipping and insurance both ways - the Association bills
you
the outbound cost and you pay the shipper to return the tool. Below is
a
list of tools currently available in the Program. We always are looking
for
new ideas to add to the Tool Loaner Program so if you have an idea for
the
occasionally-used, don't-want-to-buy-for-a-one-time-use,
but-really-do-need-it-for-this-job tool that may be a good addition to
the
Program, let the custodian know and your idea will be forwarded to the
Board
of Directors for either an approval or a, "Sounds like a reasonable
request
- denied" determination.

To request a tool, simply send either an e-mail or a snail-mail to the
Toolbox Custodian with the following information: Name, Address, E-mail
Address, Phone Number (day and evening), Boat Name, Hull Number, Dates
Needed (From-To), and any Questions or Comments. It also may be helpful
to
let us know what tool you need. As for dates needed, please try to plan
on
keeping the tool for no more than two weeks.

When the tool is shipped, you will receive a picture of the tool and all
of
its parts to help ensure that everything is returned. When applicable,
you
also will receive a set of instructions.

The Tool Loaner Program custodian is Allan Field at
allan.field at comcast.net.
The return address for return shipping or for snail-mail is:

Allan S. Field
c/o Washington County Health System
10715 Downsville Pike, Suite 103
Hagerstown, MD 21740

Tools currently available for loan include:

	Loos Gauges (PT-2, PT-3)
	Keel bolt socket
	Torque wrench and extension bars
	Laser Photo tachometer
	Non-contact thermometer
	Prop puller
	Cutlass bearing remover
	Hole saws - 5.5 inches, 2.5 inches
	Hand Crimp Life Line Tool
	Hand Swaging Tool

Now for the obligatory blah-blah-blah part. Tools are available on a
first-come, first-served basis once your Association membership is
verified.
Waiting lists will be maintained if necessary and we may ask that you
ship
the tool to the next borrower instead of returning it to the custodian
first. In those cases, we suggest you work out with the next borrower
allocation of shipping costs but we suggest that each of you pay half of
your cost. Payment for outbound shipping costs from the Association is
expected upon receipt of invoice sent to your shipping address. You
also
will be advised of how much to insure the tool for. And of course, the
Association assumes no liability for use of the tool whether such use is
proper or improper, intended or unintended. Expect to pay full
replacement
cost if a tool is damaged, lost, or stolen, goes overboard, is eaten by
the
dog, or otherwise is not returned in the same condition as when
received.
Allan intends to ship within 48-hours of a request, assuming the tool is
not
currently out, except when on occasional travel in which case he will
let
you know when to expect shipping. And finally (almost), by requesting
loan
of a tool from the Program, you agree to abide by the terms of this
announcement. And one more thing - the only way the Program works is
that
the honor system is honored; 'nuff said on that?

We hope that you will agree that this exciting new Program is a valuable
benefit of membership in the Catalina 320 International Association!
