Admittedly, being in So Cal, we don't need AC so I can't answer that one...although if I remember correctly, Peter Clancy on Aroban used to run his AC on one....maybe he's lurking and can give his perspective

Is the Honda 2000e strong enough to run a 16,000 BTU air conditioner?

Also check the size as you will want to store it in one of  the lazeretts.
Also make sure it has the DC as well as the AC capability if  you want to
charge the batteries directly from the generator
