I wouldn't do it if the generator has an integral gas tank.

I was wondering if there was a safety issue with storing a gas fueled
generator in the starboard locker as recommended on the list. It is a space
open to the aft cabin and the bilge through the access door and limber
holes. Couldn't fumes from a minor spill fill these areas? The main ac
switch is in the space as are several other potential spark hazards. Seems a
