[C320-list] generator storage safety

The cap shuts pretty tight, it has a vent button that shuts...

Strapped in, it was never a problem, at times during a sail or cruise out to Catalina I would leave it under the salon table and bring it to the cockpit after we got moored.

I think that taking care of how you store it, I never gave it a second thought.

I was wondering if there was a safety issue with storing a gas fueled generator in the starboard locker as recommended on the list. It is a space open to the aft cabin and the bilge through the access door and limber holes. Couldn't fumes from a minor spill fill these areas? The main ac switch is in the space as are several other potential spark hazards. Seems a little dangerous to me. Probably just to cautious. Jim Brown "Desafinado"

Oh, yeah, duh, I do too.
