[C320-list] dripless shaft system

Wayne,
Unless your people are real familiar with the packing material, you might
want to do your own adjustments.
I initially adjusted to a drip a minute, then I ran the packing in by
running the engine in gear for 20 minutes. Then I snugged it up until it
just stopped dripping. Ran it twenty more minutes. One more little snugging
adjustment.

Now, she should be dry when sitting and maybe a drop every several minutes
when running. That dries before it ever gets to the bilge and the stuffing
box is mildly warm to the touch when run hard. If upon shut down, the
stuffing box is too hot to hold it tightly and indefinitely, it is adjusted
too tight and you wull need to back off the nut a little.
