From memory they are mounted on the siwm paltform seats against the side walls..

If you have any photos of the install you could send, I'd appreciate it as I'm doing the work myself.
 
Where the base of the davits mounted horizontally to the seats or vertically against the transom. Also, how far apart are they? This info will be helpful in my install.
