[C320-list] Cabin Top Sail Block Tracks

I would think they would serve a stay sail quite well though I've never seen
a C320 with a stay sail.

I have tried to sheet a small jib there - a 100	% partially furled.  They
might be useful if you were caught in a bad storm where you had to continue
sailing.

Best use I found for them is mounting some loops that I could use to secure
a dink on the foredeck, not the use I would imagine Gerry Douglass had in
mind.

The earlier boats have short cabin top block tracks.  I've always been 
curious as to how these were intended to be used.  (I think they have been 
eliminated on the MK II series.)

What was the intended use and how have owners actually used these tracks?
