[C320-list] autohelm

Jon,
Thank you for all the info.  Ours is a black one.  There is no rubber cap.. Maybe it is missing.  Just to the right of the motor is a small metal disk with perhaps a very small allens head screw in the middle and a hole on either side.   I am assuming this is where the rubber cap would be if there was one.

I have taken the wheel off.  The whole thing is here in my office.  Should I remove the unit from the wheel first?  Do the two black rings of the autopilot just pry apart or are they held together by some screw somewhere?
