Steve,
You will receive many different ideas as to placement---mostly the decision as to where is the BEST place will depend upon your use of the boat, and how many folk you plan to sleep at one time.
Things to consider, as far as the a/c is concerned, are where will you connect the pump for cooling water (or warming water if you get a reverse cycle unit-- which I hardily recommend), where will you install the second 30 amp power source, where is there room to run the necessary ductwork, and where would you place the thermostat.  Each boat is a bit different in design due to placement of the battery charger--placement of the batteries, any extra water tanks already installed--placement of the refrigeration unit, etc.  Therefore the final design rests with your anticipated use of the boat.
In my installation I placed the unit in the starboard lazzeret, had room to run the ductwork around the port side of the boat into the main sleeping quarters and placed the larger output box over the refrig to direct air towards the v-berth.  30 amp supply was placed at the rear of the boat to limit the power cord length.
   Good luck locating your unit.

Hello,

I recall reading a number of posts in the past about how and where to
install A/C on the 320. I looked on the 320 website and cannot find
them.

I believe the A/C is installed in the starboard setee. Are there other
places to consider and is it possible to route a duct to the V-berth?

Is there a preferred manufacturer?

I'm sorry for the repeat questions ...

Thanks,

Steve
