[C320-list] anchor chain

The 1/4" high test chain has a higher working load than the 5/16" standard chain and is easier to handle in my opinion.   

We have 75' and 150' of 5/8" rhode with a swivel.  The chain is has a higher swl than the rhode and I suspect the rope/chain connection is the weakest link.

I gather that that size chain works fine with the stock windlass?  I am considering going to heavier (5/16") chain, but I don't know if it is compatible with our windlass.  Our current setup uses 1/4" chain.  Any idea how to tell whether a different cahin will work OK on the windlass?  I don't think the manual says anthing about this.
