[C320-list] Steering cable replacement

A big thanks to those who have pointed out the potential wear and failure of
the steering cable.  I had the steering cable replaced on WindSwept today
and approximately 50% of the strands were broken/worn through where the
cable makes the sharp bend around the quadrant.  I really was on borrowed
time.

 

I had inspected the cable many times as had a surveyor.  The damage could
not be detected until the cable was removed.  I had never replaced the cable
in the 14+ years of ownership..
