[C320-list] Knot meter cleaning.... In water?

Hi Annie,

He may have suggested that because when you do it that way, it would be more obvious to you when you've lined it up right. 

 It will insert most of the way no matter which orientation you install it, but will only drop in fully when the arrow is forward.  Turning it doesn't lock it though,  the threaded ring does that.

Jeff, I don't have a knot meter on our current Topcat. I asked not to  
have one when we ordered the boat - but I remember the shipwright  
showing me to insert the plug with the arrow pointing to 10 o'clock &  
then turning it clockwise until the arrow pointed straight up towards  
the bow.  It seemed to help it lock it into position
