[C320-list] Stuffing box flax

Hi, 
I also have a 2001 in So Cal and Catalina Yachts told me that either 2 rounds of 1/4 inch or 3 rounds of 3/16 inch are okay.  I have not replaced it myself but had it done during the purchase survey a few months ago.  Hope this helps.

  I am replacing the stuffing box flax with GFO teflon packing. My boat is 2001 w/yanmar diesel. I measured the opening for purchase and it appears to be 1/4 inch. Has anyone else done this and is 1/4 inch correct?
