[C320-list] Rub Rail Glue?

Last weekend the entire port side rub rail on KELE 218 was hanging by both
ends.  It wasn't after a heavy docking (my dock is at waterline level) and I
just thought I rubbed it the wrong way.  (Sorry for the bad pun.)

It has come off lose before.

'Half of our port side rub rail came out of the slot during a sloppy
docking.  It wants glue to stay back in the slot.  What glue is suggested
for this?  Is Silicone strong enough?
