 Not sure what you mean by jack nuts. Are these on the bolts that hold the 2 coupling plates together?

Good chance that one of your jack-nuts has come loose and the alignment is off. If you find the offending nut, you may get away with just tightening it back up.?

In addition to the necessary wrenches, you'll need an feeler gauge (old style with the 3-4" blades) and a piece of .015" shim stock (or 2 sets of feeler gauges).?

I have a recently purchased 2008 320. Love the boat but when motoring, I?

get a noisy "rattle" from 2100 to 2900 rpms.? It has been suggested that?

the shaft alignmrnt may be off.?? According to the manual, the alignment?

is adjusted by? motor mounts. Has anyone done this alignment themselves?

and is it a DIY type job??
