Hi

On our MkII there was insufficient adjustment available to allow the shaft
to be aligned with the boat as delivered. The prop shaft was hitting the
hull. After a lot of work by the dealer and Catalina the issue was
resolved. They never shared with me the full solution but I do have
modified engine mounting plates and a different coupling. There was also
work done on the hull where the shaft exits the hull. If you are not able
to stop the noise following the approach suggested on list you may want to
contact your dealer and or Catalina.

If this is the situation occurs which I hope it does not give me a ping off
list and I will give you more background

Regards
