Thanks again, with your help I easily ordered two of the caps from Defender.  Because I knew Orlando would be worried I had them shipped next day so that I can install before the weekend.  Hopefully now he won't read a story about a Catalina C-320 blowing up in Stillpond, MD.

I found this quickly on Defender's web site by searching on the Forespar 
part number.  There is also a close up photo there, which shows the 
"duck bill" valve -- the little rubber insert -- inserted into the cap 
upside down!  The correct installation has the pointy end pointing down.
