Joe:  I've sent a scan of my manual to Karl, who will post it on the web 
site.  In the meantime, there is a good discussion of maintenance of the 
Maxwell winch on the C34 web site at

This includes the blow up diagram that you are looking for.

The discussion on the C34 site indicates that Maxwell's advice regarding 
replacing the gear oil does require removing the motor, which is a 
day-long project in my experience.
