I know nothing about AC; but, a thought occurred to me. Perhaps if you could
put a relay on the blower motor to delay it's starting 15-20 seconds or so,
the reduced start-up load wouldn't overpower your generator.  Make any
sense?  Maybe you could try it by manually disconnecting the blower.
