[C320-list] When do you reef

Hi Kevin--you've bought a great boat.  Here on Sydney Harbout I love it when its about 18 knots.  I put No 1 reef in if its blowing consistently above 22knots  the No 2 goes in at about 27-28 knots.  We always get onto starboard tack before reefing  to give one right of way in case you have any problems. In my opinion the boat sails best at about 15 degrees of heel. My boat has a 140%  genoa and a full loose footed main. I have owned the boat since new 12 years ago and got rid of the Dutchman system after 9 years and wished I'd got rid of it from day 1-----except for Catalinas its not a rig seen on any other boat in Australia
