[C320-list] When do you reef?

Adam, you are correct--our hulls were together in the womb (mold)--yours' remained close to home and mine went across the country to TEXAS back in 1994 and has been on LAKE TEXOMA since that time-----The winches have been maintained every-now-and then, and the filters changed every year---although the engine has only 255 hours, it is on its 15th filter change.  The sails are original--and showing it, but we still kick many 34 and 36 catalina boats who do not understand sail trim---and I do not race much anymore--
The 320 is still a great boat and I am not looking to change to anything YET.

By the way, I have hull 218. Our boats most have know each other when they
were young.

Hi All,

I got my 320 in the late fall and she's been on the hard through the winter
so I still have lots to learn about her.

Just wondering...at what wind speed do you reef? The 320 sails best with
minimal heel, correct? Do you ever start by lessening the sail area of your
genny before putting in a reef?

Thanks.

Kevin
