>We love the quietness of the Perkins compared to the Yanmar on the 3
other 320's we have been on. Yanmar appears to be the industry standard
and is a great engine but sounds like a can of rocks a low RPM compared
to the Perkins. I do have insulation around the engine but believe the
Perkins has less compression and more cast iron. That would be
interesting thing to check is the weight of each engine.
