Nick, while the rub rail is out, use this opportunity to ensure that all the screws behind the rubber piece are snug and sealed.
You could pick up a bottle of "Captn Tolleys Creeping Crack Sealer". A drop or two on each screw head will wick in to the tiniest spaces and seal the screws. (Great stuff btw).

Nick: I replaced my rub rail two years ago. I ordered the material from
Catalina Florida (727.544.6681). I wanted to be sure to have enough, so
ordered 70 feet. There was about 6 or 7 ft. left over. Cost then was
$2/ft. plus shipping. It is a relatively easy installation, but use a heat
gun to get the rub rail warm and soft before you insert it.

Ordering a new rub rail ( I believe mine was stolen!) Does anyone know
the length? Do I just get it from Catalina part dept?
