[C320-list] Back-up for bilge pump

Can someone refresh my memory on putting in a back-up bilge pump for  the 
factory (dealer?) installed  RuleMate 1100?
 
There's not much room in that bilge for anything else, but I will not live  
through another season with the uncertainty associated with the RuleMate, 
and I  recall about a year ago a thread re: installing a back-up.
