West Marine matched the price from Defender, which had the best price I

One of the big advantages of the PH II is the flushability!
By the way, the boat show is coming up, shop the price on line and at West
-- you may
get a deal.

For those who switched to the Raritan, was it an easy install -presumably
you had to fit new bolt holes or whatever?

My Jabsco pump cyclinder cracked this summer.  Made a temporary repair but
was planning on changing the whole thing this winter.

I'm assuming I have a Jabsco Compact at the moment.  So now with all this
quality talk, I'm thinking maybe I should switch to the Raritan Compact.
Big jump in price though and even more to the PHII.

For those who switched, how do you find the pump action of the Raritan
Compact?  My kids struggle with the Jabsco, particularly because we just
pour fresh water in the bowl to flush so probably the top part of the pump
dries up a bit.  I had good intentions of opening up regularly and re-lubing
but ... so many jobs!
