        drill the holes out to 1/4 inch, pick up some wooden plugs that match the wood grain and glue,sand, and refinish.  it should look better that filling with wood dough

Anyone have any luck or suggestions on how to patch interior finish 
There is a TV mounted to the bulk head we would like to remove. 
Has some screw holes that need to be patched and finished. 
I know we can hang a picture but would like to fix the holes.
