[C320-list] Fuel filter change

There is definitely not a seal on mine so pumping is useless. I looked at that upgrade kit and it seems worth it. I called a local supplier and he said it goes for only $34.95 (Ricor part # RK20025-25-01). He has to order it so I'm going to look other places.

Fuel does not flow out of the line from the tank now - even with the Ricor removed. Is that because the prime is gone?

Mine just pulls freely through the unit without any resistance and it is just the white star-like knob with the metal shaft. I guessing this may be the problem. Has anyone else had problems with Racor priming pump?

>>> There is a white plastic knob on the top of the Racor filter, unscrew and remove, you may even have to pump, this will fill the filter to overflowing. I am assuming that the fuel cutoff is turned on. Then you can pump to prime the secondary filter or use the oil pump method at the banjo assembly which frankly works better and faster.
