My experience with TMM was not as good.  I chartered a catamaran with 4berths/4heads, and we had 4 couples on the boat.  One of the heads malfunctioned and the holding tank overflowed.  This caused, as you could expect, considerable inconvenience and basically almost ruined the charter, especially since TMM did not figure out the problem or correct it while we were underway. 



We also had electrical problems with the boat, which caused a delay, but were fixed while underway. 



The boat was brand new, by the way. 



I am not so naive as to expect that every charter will be flawless.  I carry a negative feeling from the trip because of their rather cavalier attitude about the problems we had.  Not even a heart-felt "gee we're sorry", let alone a partial refund.  I paid top dollar for the boat specifically so each couple could have a private head.
