We chartered with TMM last summer.  We had a 50' Beneteau.  We had three
couples in a 4 cabin arrangement.

We had some boat problems which were made much more difficult by the almost
non-existent manual with the boat.  It was written in French.  On the
Beneteau the labeling for things like the fuel tanks, fuel tank gages, and
electrical panel was very poor.  There were only about 5 breakers on the
main panel for a 50'boat!

We had the TMM people come out two times, once for an electrical problem and
the other for a fuel problem.  Both times they were responsive and polite.
However from talking to friends that have chartered with the Moorings I
don't think TMM has as good an ability to provide on the water service if
needed.  

I suspect we saved money, but another couple made the arrangements and we
trusted them to find the best value.

The night before se stayed onboard for a small fee.  The night after we
stayed at Maria's by the Sea.  It was a very nice hotel and I would highly
recommend it.

Hi:  Has anyone used the TMM charter group in Tortola?  Looking for some
info on where to stay one night (inexpensively) on either St.Thomas or
Tortola in June.
