I'm not at the boat but have a picture showing where they are on MKII hull 1118.

The front is midway between the forward most vertical stanchion and the opening 

port light.

The rear appears to be about 6 inches aft of the two legged stanchion that the 

opening life lines clip to.

I'll try to send the picture directly to you.

I suggest pulling the speedo paddle wheel -- we have had 1 or 2 of those 

crunched by the fwd sling.  Our yard usually just wants to know where the engine 

is located in order to sling just under or fwd of there = top of the gangway on

 For some reason, Catalina does not mark the sling locations on the hull. My 

manual has a drawing with lifting point measurements but the diagram is of a 

Mark I and I have a Mark II. I have purchased some "sling" stickers but before I 

place them I wanted opinions about whether the lifting locations would be the 

same for the Mark I and II.
